Thank you for being here

Hi! I'm Ka, Costa Rican living in the Netherlands for 6 years and mom of two girls. You know that feeling of being pregnant far from home, trying to understand the Dutch medical system while your heart misses your family? I lived exactly that.

That's why I became a doula, because I understand what it's like to need someone to support you with care and respect, who speaks your language and understands what you really need.

I offer birth support in Spanish and English, and as I'm also a professional photographer, I can create a memory forever of your most real and intense moment of your life.

My job is to be there for you completely, understanding your fears and celebrating with you every step of this special journey.

While my educational background is rooted in International Relations, my heart found its true calling in photography about 10 years ago. Initially, photography was my therapeutic sanctuary, but as my skills and passion grew, it seamlessly evolved into my profession over the past 8 years.

The transformative journey of my own pregnancy drew me to birth photography. Suddenly, every click and capture felt like a purpose coming to life. From witnessing numerous births and cesareans, an innate desire to delve deeper emerged. In 2022, I embarked on a new educational journey, focusing on breastfeeding and training as a doula.

Life blessed me with two incredible children who constantly inspire me to grow, learn, and be better every day. Their presence redefines love for me. My journey of love isn't just limited to my children. I have a beautiful story with my husband, whom I met at an overseas conference in 2007. We braved the challenges of a long-distance relationship for two years before tying the knot in 2009. Our shared adventures and dreams led us to a new chapter in the Netherlands in 2018, and I'm excited for all the memories we'll continue to make together.
